Already own a ring that fits the finger you're shopping for? That's the easiest way to find your size. Measure its inner diameter in millimeters and match it to the chart below.
Tips for accuracy
- Your ring finger isn't the same size on both hands, and it's rarely the same as any other finger either, so measure the exact one you're buying for.
- Cold hands measure smaller than they really are, and hands run a little bigger by evening, so the end of the day gives you the truest read.
- Got a bigger knuckle than the base of your finger? Measure past it too, then land somewhere between the two numbers.
- Right on the line between two sizes? A thicker band wants the larger size, a thinner one wants the smaller.
Don't have a ring to measure? A strip of paper or string works too. Wrap it snugly around your finger, mark where the ends meet, then measure that length and divide by roughly 3.14 to convert it to diameter.
